Pre season 11 a side tournament and the boys all played extremely well in the scorching heat!!

Team: Joe (in goal), Ben, Theo, Ravi, Fraser, Sam, Jay, George, Zane, Charlie, Saul and Vann.

5 games in all, team finishing with most points overall winners.

Warmley impressively won all their games and finished top: 1st v Bristol Rovers 3-0 (George, Zane & OG); 2nd v Ashton Boys 3-0 (Sam, Saul & Fraser); 3rd v Brislington 3-0 (Hat trick from Ben); 4th v Whitchurch 7-0 (Charlie, Zane, George, Jay & hat trick from Fraser); 5th v Bradley Stoke 3-0 (George, Fraser & Jay).  

Yet again, brilliant performance.  

U10A entered two teams:

Warmley 'A' - Jay, Ben, George, Zane, Fraser, Joe (Goalie), Ross & Ravi

In group games won 3 and drew 2 which took them onto the semis

Semi final v Swindon Rangers turned out to be frustrating and disappointing for everyone, especially the boys! A decision by the ref of a penalty in favour of Warmley was shouted down by the opposition managers and parents which resulted in the ref backing down and changing his mind. Although the decision was not just you had to feel sorry for him, he was clearly intimidated and lacked age and experience to stand by his decisions and his confidence crumbled. There were many dodgy calls following this incident and Warmley found themselves 1-0 down at half time following a dubious penalty in favour of Swindon. The final result of 2-0 to Swindon left players and spectators feeling angry and did not reflect the quality football played by the Warmley boys - Hard luck lads!

Warmley 'B' - Sam, Luke, James, Callum, Theo, Ryan, Kyle (Goalie) & Ashley

Brilliant play and unlucky to go out after group games following 2 wins, 2 draws and 1 lost.

Well done to everyone yet again.

Warmley U/10A was out in force for today with 3 teams entered altogether.

Warmley 'A' - Kyle in goal (CFC), Jay, Ravi, Callum, Ross, Ben, & George D (BC)

Warmley 'B' - Joe in goal, Zane, Ashley, Jake (BC), Ryan, Fraser & Lewis (BC)

Warmley 'C' - Callum H in goal (BC), George, Sam, Theo, Charlie, Luke & Aaron (BC)

Brilliant football played by all three teams ensuring them easy progression into quarter finals.

Sailed through quarters: Warmley 'A' v Stoke Lane B  2 -0, Warmley 'B' v Rovers 'A' 4-1 & Warmley 'C' v Mangotsfield 'B' 3-0 

Semi finals saw Warmley 'A' v Mangotsfield 'A' which resulted in 2-0 win in our favour and Warmley 'B' v Warmley 'C' (a shame, but inevitable as all three teams were playing quality football) Fantastic game and after extra time it was 3 goals each, penalties resulted in a Warmley 'B' victory.

Final - Warmley 'A' v Warmley 'B'. 0-0 after extra time, following penalties Warmley 'A' came out the overall winners.

Great day & Warmley got to retain their title - well done boys in all team, you should be proud of yourselves!!
